New Carjacking Scheme!! Be careful while out and about this season. Stay aware of what's happening around you. Crooks are getting more clever and desperate. If it appears to good to be true...it probably is!!

The thugs are leaving $100.00 bills on the windshields of unsuspecting holiday shoppers to get them to stop their cars and get...most doing so with the door left open to retrieve the money. As soon as they do, the crooks spring into action stealing your car and all of the contents inside, leaving you completely helpless.

If you see one of these placed on your windshield, look around to see who may be following you. Check to see if anything appears out of the ordinary. ONLY stop and/or park in a well lit and safe areas while out shopping. Keep all valuables secured safely in the trunk and well out of view of anyone peering into your vehicle.

Atlanta Carjacking Victim Shoots Attacker

Neighbors in one Atlanta community said they're on alert after a recent carjacking attempt ended with the female victim shooting her attacker.

The incident happened at a Ponce Highlands neighborhood near Ponce de Leon and North Highland avenues.

Burglars are cutting power to homes to try to bypass security alarms.

Dekalb County Police say the burglars cut through locks and ripped the power meters off of the wall of homes before breaking in. Residents are upset after having their electricity knocked out when would-be robbers ripped the power meter right out of the wall.

Person found shot in car on I-285

Police have charged gunman, Jason Robinson, age 20, with the murder in the fatal shooting of an unidentified male in DeKalb County.

DeKalb County police say Robinson and two other men were walking through Henderson Park around midnight when a handgun, allegedly being carried by Robinson, went off and stuck one of the other two males.

2 Atlanta Armed Robbery Suspects Caught Using "Find My iPhone" app!

Authorities apprehended two suspects they say robbed a home on the 3200 block of Andrews Drive in NW Atlanta.

Police say the two suspects entered the residence through the garage door and approached the victim with their guns pointed at the him. They then allegedly tied the victim up using a t-shirt and an electrical cord.
