On June 23, 2012 Atlanta area college students were once again victimized by violent crime. 3 different college students  reported being held at gunpoint  held at 3 different locations. All 3 locations were near the Georgia Tech campus. In  each of the 3 separate armed robberies, the victims reported that the robbers took cell phones and any other items they were carrying while holding them at gunpoint.

  Imagine being home alone and hearing two armed men trying to break into your home. That's exactly what happened to Sarah McKinley, 18, of Blanchard OK, who was reportedly at home alone with her infant son just a week after her husband died of lung cancer.



Although McKinley managed to push the couch to the front door to create a barricade, that didn't stop the armed intruders.
