Atlanta Carjacking Victim Shoots Attacker

Neighbors in one Atlanta community said they're on alert after a recent carjacking attempt ended with the female victim shooting her attacker. 


The incident happened at a Ponce Highlands neighborhood near Ponce de Leon and North Highland avenues.

Police have charged gunman, Jason Robinson, age 20, with the murder in the fatal shooting of an unidentified male in DeKalb County.
 


DeKalb County police say Robinson and two other men were walking through Henderson Park around midnight when a handgun, allegedly being carried by Robinson, went off and stuck one of the other two males.

2 Atlanta Armed Robbery Suspects Caught Using "Find My iPhone" app!

Authorities apprehended two suspects they say robbed a home on the 3200 block of Andrews Drive in NW Atlanta. 

  

Police say the two suspects entered the residence through the garage door and approached the victim with their guns pointed at the him. They then allegedly tied the victim up using a t-shirt and an electrical cord.

Tuscaloosa Homeowner Pulls Gun on Home Invasion Suspect Armed with a Machete

Still need a reason to learn about defending your home and your family? How about being attacked by a man with a machete at your own home? 

Tuscaloosa law enforcement officials said that home invasion suspect Daniel Pearman approached a man and his wife with a machete as they were having breakfast on their back porch.




The husband said he struggled with Pearman for control of the machete, allowing his wife an opportunity to escape to a neighbor’s house and call police.

Sandy Springs Woman Robbed At Gun Point!

Early Friday, June 7th, 2013 two men robbed a woman at gunpoint at the Park at Dunwoody apartments in Sandy Springs, GA. Now, Sandy Springs police are trying to find the men responsible.

Joy Keishian said she ran into the two men when she walked out to her parked car around 6:30 a.m. that Friday morning. She later stated to police that she saw the two men but thought that they appeared non-threatening.

Fulton County Man Injured in Home Invasion

Three gunmen beat up a man in his home on Gable Court in Peachtree City and drove off in his pick up truck and now Fulton County police are looking for them. 
 
 At just  after 2 a.m. on Thursday morning,  the men kicked in the back door of the home, tied up the man   and kicked him several times, attempting to force him to tell them where his valuables were. They then stole his  2009 burgundy 4-door Ford F-150 pickup truck, using it to get away. The man was not badly hurt.

Atlanta TSA Reports First Gun Found For 2013 on January 2nd!

At only two days into the New Year, the busiest airport in the country is dealing with it's "first firearm found" at one of it's security checkpoints.

The TSA is using their "first" at Atlanta's airport to warn those who would fly with firearms about the penalty for improper procedure and the potential risk gun owners can face.

Walton County Chief Deputy Keith Brooks reported to Fox 5 news that a Loganville mother shot an alleged home invader several times on Friday.

 Two women reported that they were robbed at gunpoint at a popular Buckhead shopping center by men wearing ski masks!
